The Nile Guide is a curated marketplace that connects travellers with verified operators of Nile cruises, dahabeyas, dinner boats, and related experiences. We do not own or operate the vessels listed on the platform. Each experience is delivered by an independent operator who has been reviewed for quality and safety.

When you book through The Nile Guide, you enter a service agreement directly with the operator for the experience itself. The Nile Guide facilitates discovery, booking, payment, and support throughout your journey.

To make a booking or save experiences, you may create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, current information about yourself and your travel party.
• Keeping your account credentials secure and not sharing them with third parties.
• Ensuring all booking details — names, dates, contact methods — are correct before confirming.
• Notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Listings on The Nile Guide show indicative availability. A booking is only confirmed once the operator accepts your request and you receive a confirmation from us by email.

• Booking requests must include accurate guest counts, dates, and contact details.
• Availability is subject to operator confirmation and may change between request and confirmation.
• A booking confirmation will outline the experience, dates, total amount, and operator contact.

Payments are processed securely through our payment partners. By submitting payment details you authorise the charge for your booking and any agreed extras.

• Prices may vary by date, season, operator, and the experience selected.
• Any additional fees — fuel surcharges, port charges, optional add-ons — are displayed before checkout.
• Currency conversion is handled by your payment provider and may include their own fees.

To keep every journey on the Nile safe and enjoyable, travellers agree to:

• Follow operator rules and the directions of the captain and crew.
• Respect on-board safety guidelines, including any equipment or briefings.
• Arrive on time at the agreed embarkation point.
• Provide complete and accurate travel information, including passport or ID details where required.
• Behave respectfully toward crew, other guests, and the river environment.

Verified reviews help future travellers make informed choices. Reviews submitted to The Nile Guide must:

• Reflect a genuine experience you personally had through the platform.
• Be honest, specific, and constructive.
• Not contain false, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful content.

We may remove reviews that violate these guidelines or that we reasonably believe to be inauthentic.

The Nile Guide brand, design, photography, written content, and software are protected by intellectual property law. Operator listings remain the property of their respective owners. You may not reproduce or redistribute platform content without permission.

Because experiences are operated by independent partners, The Nile Guide is not liable for the on-board conduct of a booking once confirmed. We work hard to verify quality, but to the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the value of the booking made through the platform. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.

The Nile Guide may update these terms from time to time as our platform, regulations, or partner network evolve. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Continued use of the platform after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
